Fly Up Day Permission Slip DUE 5/12!

5th grade recognition ceremony/ DARE graduation!

D.A.R.E. graduation and the 5th grade recognition will begin promptly at 10:30 am in the gymnasium on Thursday, May 18th . All family members are welcome to attend and will sit in the bleachers. Park in the lot and enter through our main entrance. Doors should be open ten minutes in advance. Students will be awarded a D.A.R.E. certificate of completion, D.A.R.E. essay winners will be announced, and general 5th grade awards handed out. 

Students will not be receiving DARE shirts this year so please encourage your child to dress nicely (Ex. Nice pants, skirt, dress, etc) . We have already had our class meeting about what to wear, taking a shower, brushing hair, etc. that morning.

After the ceremony is completed, there will be time to take pictures. We plan to have the different classes go to different parts of the gym in order for parents to take classroom group photos and individual photos. Then, feel free to take photos with students in other classrooms. Once pictures are finished, students will return to their classrooms.

Reminder About Bus Routes!

Dear Lindbergh Parents,

Due to the closure of roads and uncertain traffic congestion, the following bus routes will be altered beginning Tuesday morning and will remain so until conditions allow us to re-adjust.

Concord Elementary

Routes 1, 2, 3 and 4 will not have bus service 

Route 5 - bus will pick up Tapawingo students at Rott Road and Pagada Parkway within ten minutes of normal pick up time

Route 6 - bus will pick up students at Rambling Oaks and Gravois Road within ten minutes of normal pick up time

Routes 7 & 8 should be able to run as normally scheduled

We understand that conditions are changing rapidly. If you believe that it is unsafe or impossible to transport your student to and from school, please remain safe.  All students missing school due to flood conditions will be excused. From information shared with us by authorities, the bus routes will likely be altered through Thursday.  We will keep you updated as we learn more, and return to normal bus routing as soon as possible.

Concord Night at Busch Stadium!

Dear Parents:

Concord Night at Busch Stadium is Tuesday, May 30th, at 6:15 p.m.  Concord's 4th/5th Grade Singers will be singing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" at the top of the 7th inning!  I hope you can bring your family out for a fun night to celebrate the end of a great year!  

Please, send in the attached ticket order form and a check made payable to Concord Elementary by Friday, May 5th.  Tickets will be available for pick-up in the office the week of May 10th.  Thank you for your support!
