Today we did a Book Frenzy where we got to know the books in our classroom library! :)

What an amazing day!

Wow!  What a wonderful, fun day!  Although I don't have pictures, I promise it was a day we won't ever forget!  We started off the day by rotating through the 5th  grade classrooms.  We did lots of different eclipse activities!  Then we went outside to actually view the eclipse and we finished the day by rewriting the lyrics to Total Eclipse of the Heart (SUN).

Today the kiddos wrote our class mission statement! We are all set for an amazing year!

Last names that start with N-Z: 

5:30 - 6:15

Last names that start with A-M: 

6:15 - 7:00

Our classroom is Room 35-- it's way down at the end of the 5th grade hallway! 

Tonight you can drop off school supplies in our classroom and there are a few forms for you to pick up/ fill out! One of these forms is very important for the first day of school-- confirming your child's transportation.

I hope everyone is having a great summer! I can't wait to see everyone at the Ice Cream Social on August 15th at 5:30.  Enjoy these last days of summer.  I'm looking forward to an awesome school year!
